How can I add Emergency contacts in app?

UNIC prioritizes your safety. The Emergency Contacts feature allows you to add trusted individuals who can be notified or contacted in case of an emergency during a trip. You can easily add or manage these contacts within the app.
Follow these steps to add emergency contacts:

  1. Log into the UNIC Mobile App
    Open the UNIC app on your phone and sign in with your account credentials.
  2. Select the Account Tab
    Tap the Account tab located in the bottom menu. This will take you to your account settings and preferences.
  3. Go to General Settings
    In the Account tab, scroll down and find the General Settings section. Tap on it to open your settings options.
  4. Select “Emergency Contacts”
    In General Settings, you will see an option labeled “Emergency Contacts”. Tap on this option to view or edit your current list of emergency contacts (if any).
  5. View Your Current Emergency Contacts
    After tapping “Emergency Contacts”, you will see a list of any contacts you’ve already added (if applicable). If this is your first time adding contacts, the list may be empty.
  6. Add a New Emergency Contact
    To add a new contact, tap the “Add Contacts” button at the bottom of the screen.
  7. Enter the Contact Details
    You will be prompted to enter the Full Name and Phone Number of the person you wish to add. Ensure the details are correct to avoid any issues in case of an emergency.
  8. Submit the Contact Information
    Once you’ve entered the contact’s details, tap Submit to add the contact to your list.
  9. View Your Updated Emergency Contacts
    After submitting the contact information, your new contact will now appear in your Emergency Contacts list. You can add up to 5 emergency contacts.

      You can typically add up to 3 emergency contacts, depending on app version and settings.
    • What happens in an emergency?
      In case you use the SOS or Emergency button during a trip, your saved emergency contacts may receive an alert with your real-time location and trip details (based on app permissions and local regulations).
    • Can I remove or update a contact?
      Yes. Return to the Emergency Contacts section, tap the contact you want to change, and choose to edit or remove it.
